PREPOSITIONS OF TIME

AT- with times.
Example: I wake up at 4:40 am.

IN - parts of the day, years, months, seasons, etc.
Example: My birthday is in October in the spring season.

ON- days of the week, special days, exact dates.
Example: Lucia is going to the beach on Friday.

SINCE - with the starting point of the action.
Example: I work in his company since 2011.

DURING - refers to a moment in the course of a period of time.
Example: She was dancing a lot during the party.

UNTIL - indicates how long a situation will continue up to a certain moment.
Example: Today I'll work until 11pm.

BEFORE - indicates time.
Example: I drank too much before the party.

AFTER - indicates time.
Example: She cried after the party.
