• AIRPORT - the place you go when you want to travel by plane to another city or country.

• BAKERY - you can buy fresh bread and cakes.

• BANK - you deposit and save your money.

• BOOKSTORE - a place where you can buy books and magazines.

• BUS STATION - a place where you go when you want to travel by bus.

• CHURCH - a religious place where you pray.

• DEPARTMENT STORE - a large store that sells clothes, household appliances, etc.

• CINEMA/MOVIES - you can watch the latest movies.

• FIRE STATION - the building where firemen keep their equipment and work.

• GAS STATION - the place you go to put gas in your car.

• GYM - you can practice exercises and keep fit.

• HOSPITAL - the place you go when you are sick.

 

• LIBRARY - a place where you can read and borrow books.

• MUSEUM - you can see many old objects.

• DRUGSTORE - you can buy medicine and (legal) drugs.

• POLICE STATION - the place where the police officers work.

• PUB - a place where you can buy beer or other types of alcoholic drinks.

• SCHOOL - a place where children and teenagers study and learn.

• SUPERMARKET - a large store that sells food, drinks, etc.

• VIDEO STORE - you rent a movie or a DVD for a couple of days from this place.

• ZOO - a place where you can see many types of animals in cages.
