"USED TO"

Hello people!! How have you been?? I hope you guys are great!! Sorry but we had some technical problems with the website but now everything is ok!! Thanks God!! Let’s practice, study and share our English doubts and ideas about “USED TO”. Hereee weeee goo!!!

We use 'used to' for something that happened regularly in the past but no longer happens;

Example:

I used to smoke a lot but I stopped three years ago.

We also use for something that  was true but  no longer is;

Example:

I used to be married but now I am single.

We also use to talk about past habits;

Example:

Joe used to play ping pong in his childhood.

Let’s check the affirmative, negative and interrogative form of the sentences:

Affirmative Form

Roger used to dance Macarena.

Negative Form

Roger didn’t use to dance Macarena.

Interrogative Form

Did Roger use to dance Macarena?
